The downside was that during the rainy season the bathroom had no hot water.

The only good thing was its proximity to the beach. Everything else fell short of expectations: the front‑desk staff told me the booking was cancelled on the app, yet they handed me the key at 12 pm. Because I had booked via the app, I had to wait until 2 pm to actually check in, even though the room had been vacant since the morning before I arrived to drop off my luggage.

The hotel sits right in the city centre, surrounded by countless restaurants and convenience stores. Walking to the beach from the hotel takes about five minutes. The staff were enthusiastic and very helpful. The room was large, with one window overlooking the sea and another looking out over the city. However, the room needed better maintenance: electrical devices and wiring in the bedroom and bathroom were broken or exposed, looking unattractive and unsafe, especially for families with small children.
