After five days of a bike tour and sleeping in a tent I was thrilled to find a comfortable bed, welcoming pillows and a bathtub. Even though the room was next to the highway it was very quiet. I also liked all the restaurants and shops nearby—lots of choices for things to do. Not really a dislike to be shared! I’d stay again once the remodels/updates are finished; the place has great charm‑potential!

Since we booked, the hotel apparently rebranded and our reservation couldn't be located with our credit‑card details, yet we still received a room. The location is great for a layover, right on the highway, and we could wash and dry our clothes. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious enough. However, the room’s furnishings felt a bit outdated, especially for a supposedly “newly remodeled” place; for example, the lampshades were hanging in pieces.

Only coffee is served, and there are no cups in the reception area—just in the rooms. The pool and hot tub are closed and unavailable, and the continental breakfast may not be offered.

It was affordable, but the area felt sketchy. The front desk apparently closes at 11 pm, which I didn’t know. Luckily I arrived at 10:30 and could still check in. I’m not sure what would happen if you arrive after 11.
