The property was beautifully presented in a lovely setting, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I appreciated that the heaters were already on when we arrived. Breakfast was lovely, and I loved the robes! Nothing we didn’t like.

Private space, fabulous gardens, a quiet and tranquil farm setting. It’s cosy, warm, and the owners are welcoming. Fresh garden raspberries were a delightful addition to breakfast. One small suggestion: offer plunger coffee with a French press.

Great hospitality and a very comfortable room, ideal for exploring the area by bicycle. Nothing, my experience exceeded my expectations!

We loved staying at The Farm Bed & Breakfast! Nikkie and James were the best hosts. They picked us up from the centre of Middlemarch, where we left our bikes, which was so helpful. They also lent us their car to use during our stay, which was a nice gesture. We used it in the morning to head out to Salt Lake for a walk, which was great. They were just the nicest people—you’ll be well taken care of. The room had a great farm/cottage feel, and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The bed was super comfortable, so we slept fantastically. Another highlight was their dog Richie—he was really friendly and we loved giving him all of the snuggles. We couldn’t recommend this place enough, especially if you’re cycling the trail or just in the area. The only thing I was worried about when I first booked was how we were going to get there, since it’s a short drive out of the centre of Middlemarch. However, Nikkie and James are more than happy to pick you up and drop you off, and as mentioned above, they also lent us their car to use while we were there! It was also really nice to stay on their farm, as it was so peaceful.
