Hostel Urban City Medellin

“Económico en un buen sector”

The place is right where you need to be and it doesn’t cost much at all. Everything was spotless and the staff member who checked us in was super friendly. I’d definitely stay there again.

“Great budget friendly stay”

Got a lot of bang for the buck in a safe neighborhood—there’s a cheap supermarket and a few bars just around the corner. Street‑food stalls are solid, and the metro is only about a ten‑minute walk away. The host was welcoming and there’s an ice‑cream shop nearby for a sweet treat.

“Urban homey hostal with all the necessities!”

Javier and Nora were genuinely helpful, and the hostel sits right by Avenida Ochenta, the Metro and tons of restaurants and supermarkets, which made getting around a breeze. I loved meeting their pets—Pacheco the chatty yellow‑crowned Amazon parrot and Nemo the friendly chihuahua added a lot of charm.

“Un hogar lejos del hogar”

Staying there felt more like being at home than a hotel room—staff treated us like family and the service was truly unmatched. The owners are warm and genuine, and the homemade ice‑cream they serve is simply delicious. I’d recommend this place without hesitation.

The room was comfortable, the bathrooms were fine, and having a fan made the heat manageable. All in all, a pleasant, no‑frills stay.
