“Es un quiero y no puedo”
The spot was perfect, but there were plenty of minor issues that could be easily fixed: the taps sprayed water weakly and unevenly, the bathtub barely had any pressure so you waited about two hours for a decent flow, there were too many stairs and a bizarre layout, and the final flight of stairs was impossible to reach the terrace if you’re a bit heavier. They even left a mop and broom out instead of storing them. A pressure‑mounted crib sat awkwardly in our room, the bathroom faucet was tiny and leaked onto the cabinet, and the “living‑kitchen” was basically a kitchen with a sofa against one wall. It seemed the original large house had been split into two units – one for two people and this one for six – resulting in a cramped space where six adults barely fit, crooked kitchen walls, and a bathroom door that wouldn’t close. On the plus side, there was a bathtub in the bedroom, though some windows opened onto solid walls. All these little things are cheap to correct, and focusing on a comfortable, functional setup would be better.
