The Saltley Inn

I wasn’t particularly impressed with my stay – the room was cramped, not properly cleaned, and lacked enough essentials. A party was happening, so loud music played until 1 am. It’s a decent spot just to crash, but if you expect more, you’ll be disappointed. The staff, however, were very polite and helpful.

I have to say I didn’t like anything about this accommodation. I’ve never given a bad rating before because it’s usually a matter of taste, but here there’s nothing worth praising. The facilities, the bed, the room – all are lackluster. How can someone who earns a living do such a careless job? The room, even with the window open, smelled of other people. The bed was completely sagging; you feel every single spring, and even though the bedding had been changed, you still smell the previous occupants. My room had hair everywhere, the carpet was dirty. Everything was in a pathetic, desolate state. How could they even get a license?

The location was good, with several bus stops nearby. The place lacked cleanliness, the beds sagged, the facilities were outdated, there were no bins or soaps, and cracks were patched with fixo.
