Nestled in Katelios village, Olivemare lies a five‑minute stroll from the beach, offering boutique rooms with private terraces, sunbeds, mini‑bars, ecological cosmetics, and soundproofing. An eco‑pool, sun terrace, and hot tub sit amid olive groves. The a‑la‑carte restaurant serves organic salads, local cheese, homemade bread, and traditional dishes. The hotel is 4 km from Scala Beach and 2 km from the Virgin Fidousa monastery.

I loved the tranquility of the gardens surrounding the swimming pool; ample shade and a light breeze meant we preferred to spend the hot part of the day there rather than at the beach. The beach itself is very close and a delight for both families with small children (large shallow bay) and those, like us, who prefer some serious swimming. Blissfully free of boat traffic that ruins many other beaches, the waters here are calm and teeming with aquatic life (we saw a turtle). Breakfast back at the hotel after our morning swim was fantastic—fresh, healthy and made by hand with love. The only negative is that the bathroom is small.

It was such a beautiful place. Felt so relaxed there. Perfect location. Breakfast was fabulous and the pool was great for an extra dip before/after the beach, which was a 2‑minute walk. Absolutely everything was stunning.

The location is top. The rooms are spacious and very well decorated. The garden, the pool and the staff are very pleasant. It’s an enchanting hotel. The owners are adorable. Everything was good.
