“The “standard room” is barely fit for purpose.”

The location was convenient for the Hill Dickinson Stadium - around 45 minutes walk away. Although not used, the communal area looked fine for cooking and eating. The keypad arrangement to enter the accommodation. We stayed in the standard room. Our booking however, was for a superior room. The room had space for little more than the bed. The bed could only be accessed from one side. Not ideal if you need to get up in the night as you would have to clamber over your partner. There was no space for a chair. The room’s window sill and skirting needed cleaning. The tissue box was empty. There was 1 towel between the 2 of us. The shower could not be accessed when the bathroom door was closed due to insufficient space. The sink leaked. We didn’t arrive at the property until around 8.45pm and then went out for a meal. We left first thing the following morning. We would otherwise have drawn our concerns regarding the room, to the proprietor’s attention

“Good location for Anfield events”

The check‑in and check‑out were smooth, parking was free and easy, and Anfield was within walking distance; there were plenty of shops nearby and the kitchen facilities were accessible. The stay was acceptable for the price.
