The spot is in a solid location and the bed was comfy, but the host, while friendly and chatty, didn’t engage like the hosts at the other guesthouses we’ve been to, leaving me a bit disappointed overall.

I stayed at this charming character property right off the Coast to Coast trail, and the beds were super comfy while the host’s breakfast was absolutely delicious.

This quirky B&B sits in a great spot and the Indonesian decor is stunning; towels and bedding were clean, though the room felt a touch cramped for a couple, and the amazing bed, while beautiful, left barely any space to unpack two rucksacks.

The place was quirky yet pleasant, with my room adjacent to the breakfast area and a large double four‑poster bed; everything worked well for a single night, the hosts were very helpful, and the breakfast was tasty and well cooked, with a great location and stunning views all around, though the en‑suite shower was a bit small but functional, and it seems the owners have good ideas for walkers that haven’t yet materialised.
