Hostal Mirador del Valle is 700 metres from Cafayate's Main Square, offering rooms with heating, cable TV, and tiled floors. A terrace with BBQ facilities overlooks the Calchaqui Valley. The hotel features a lobby with a fireplace, serves a continental breakfast, and is close to the Archeological Museum and bus station, 800 metres away.

I woke up to a breakfast that was packed with options and a view that blew me away.

The hostel’s infrastructure and views were decent, and the price was very cheap. The reception staff were unhelpful; they didn’t warn us about the power cut the next day, so we had to leave with wet hair in 6‑degree weather. The breakfast was a mess—stale bread that was probably from the previous day. The Wi‑Fi was terrible; we never got a signal during our entire stay.
