The resort is spacious and the beach loungers are nicely spaced apart, giving plenty of room and privacy. The buffet was fine and several restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, these positives did not offset the many negative experiences. A very disappointing stay. When we arrived at 01.00 we could not find our booking. We ended up with a one‑bedroom apartment instead of two. After a lot of hassle and a sleepless night we had to talk to the front desk and FO manager six times the next day, and he even kept claiming that our reserved room did not exist. Finally we got the correct room, but it lacked the promised bath. The information was misleading. Many photos, including those of the food, are from the adjacent Arena hotel. That food is not part of Selena Bay’s all‑inclusive. The promised facilities such as the spa, tennis court, casino, and dive center are missing. The jacuzzi also belongs to the neighboring hotel. Cleaning was disastrous: in seven days our room was cleaned only once and we received clean towels only once. Water was not refilled. My girlfriend and I were repeatedly harassed by staff asking for our numbers and Instagram. Even the FO manager kept calling and texting me, which was very inappropriate and unprofessional. We would not book here again!

The beach restaurant and the servers were very friendly. The fact that, for the price paid for a “Deluxe” suite, which is quite expensive for Egypt, the hotel tried to give us a tiny, crappy apartment on the ground floor overlooking the parking lot next to a wall of the neighboring hotel and a bedroom with no window. Luckily after we refused, they gave us a very good one.

Overall the stay was very nice, everything was excellent, and the hotel staff were very polite and helpful. The only note was the difficulty with check‑in because we brought a dog, even though the hotel is advertised as Pet Friendly. I just wish the pet‑entry procedures were clearer and easier in the future. I booked the hotel on the basis that it was Pet Friendly, but upon arrival I encountered some difficulty and complications during check‑in because of the dog. I wish the pet‑entry procedures were clearer and easier, especially since the hotel is advertised as Pet Friendly. Overall I hope this point is improved so that the experience is better for guests bringing their pets.

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The service was excellent, everyone was kind and welcoming, and the whole experience felt very pleasant. It was exactly the relaxing stay we were hoping for

Our stay was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The atmosphere was relaxing, the room was comfortable, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We left the hotel genuinely happy and satisfied with our experience
