The Sea View Motel in Ogunquit offers an outdoor pool, flat-screen cable TV, and in-room microwaves and refrigerators. Free high-speed WiFi is provided. A trolley service to nearby beaches and Perkins Cove stops outside every few minutes. The motel is 1.1 km from Ogunquit city centre and Ogunquit Beach, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

The location was great and the room looked good when we arrived. We stayed Sunday the fourth and Monday the fifth. On the first night we saw black flecks on the bed and brushed them off, assuming nothing serious. The same flakes appeared on the sheets the next day, so my friend let me sleep on her bed. About an hour later we decided to change her sheets, but the flakes were still there. We packed everything right away to avoid bringing bedbugs home, put our stuff in the back of her truck, and slept in the cab that night. When we spoke to the front desk staff, he was very casual about the issue and said he’d check with management and call us. He called back, claiming the cleaners found no evidence of bedbugs, but I have photos to prove otherwise. Visitors come from everywhere to Kennebunk Wells and Ogunquit, and it’s important they don’t encounter what we did. I understand any hotel can get bedbugs, but we weren’t treated fairly and I’m upset. I think we should at least get a refund for the night we had to sleep in our vehicle.

The location was great, close to both Ogunquit and Kennebunkport, and there were no problems.

I was on a 2,500 mile trip in 7 days, I booked before realising that check in was only open until 9pm, I phoned and they were more than happy to accommodate my very late check in. Even taking the time to draw a map up to help me find my room easily. The room was lit and the TV was on low when I arrived which I found very pleasant as it felt very homely after an extremely long day. The room was outstandingly clean, and the bed was the comfiest I think i've ever slept on! For the money I was unsure what to expect as I had stayed in some pretty sketchy places on my travel for similar cost, I was blown away. 10/10 stay. That I had to leave!
