The hotel’s location is great, with shops and the bus stop nearby, the breakfast is excellent and the staff are incredibly friendly; the downside is that the bathroom in our room felt a bit cramped.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff serving it were really friendly and helpful, while the pool area was pleasant. Check‑in, however, was unlike anything we’d experienced before; normally we can finish the paperwork in the morning and get the room later that day, but here we were told to wait until 15:00 and could only sit on a nearly empty parking lot until then. By the time we finally checked in, every space was taken even though we had booked a spot, and when I asked about it I was told I was out of luck and had to use the garage, which thankfully wasn’t charged. The room itself was very basic and not at all cozy, and the bathroom was tiny with a sink so small you could barely wash your hands. For what we got, the price was far too high.

The room was spacious, the location superb, everything spotless, there was an underground garage and an Edeka right outside, but the chair was terribly worn and could use replacement, and the ski‑pass had to be uploaded manually.

The location is unbeatable – right on the wide beach – and the whole team was genuinely warm, extremely friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast costs €20 per person, which isn’t cheap but has become the norm; the spread was ample and you could even enjoy a glass of champagne early in the morning. The hotel does show its age, yet everything works and the place is very clean. I wish two things were better: the free Wi‑Fi, which constantly drops and seems under‑powered for the number of users, and the electric‑car charging station. The €35 fee per charge is steep, and throughout the week I never saw a car actually plugged in; many guests just parked there, which feels selfish. The hotel could set stricter rules and fine those who use the spot only for parking, but it would be nicer if guests acted more considerately.
