Amyl's Garden

“I will never stay at this place.”

Everything was very dirty—room, bathroom, furniture, hallways, etc. No hot water; the water pressure was just dripping. I chose this hotel because of an 8.7 review score, but the property is nowhere near even a 1 score. I’ll seriously consider verifying the review scores. Nothing good. I’m suspicious about how they achieved 8.7.

It’s a really nice place to stay in the most prime location. The staff are super friendly and pleasant to be around, the rooms are cozy and well maintained, and all facilities are readily available.

“Very low standards”

Nothing good. The AC wasn’t working, the washroom geyser wasn’t working, and the staff were weak and unprofessional.

“A great base for exploring Islamabad, comfortable, clean, and perfectly located for food and shopping.”

The spot was spot on, right next to all the markets and eateries, so getting around was a breeze. The room itself was neat, cozy, and did everything we needed. The only thing that felt a tad off was the name – it hints at a garden, but there isn’t one, which is a little misleading, though it didn’t really ruin our visit.

“Good value for money and a relaxing stay, despite a couple of minor inconveniences”

Amyl’s Garden Guest House delivers solid value for the price. The room was roomy, kept in good shape, and came with every basic amenity. The staff were welcoming and always on hand to help. The location is ideal—quiet but still close to shops and restaurants, so I’d definitely recommend it to anyone heading to Islamabad. On the downside, you can pick up some noise from adjacent rooms or the hallway; better soundproofing would make it even more pleasant.
