“Very charming stay, food excellent , staff wonderful”
The place had a very rustic feel, though there were plenty of ants—expected on a farm.

Besides the location, Luigi and Sabine were friendly and extremely helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay: the views were stunning, the owner and family were lovely, and sipping wine by the pool was a delight; the pool was a bit cold but the privacy and setting more than compensated; dinner was hearty, locally sourced, and reasonably priced; the rural setting in central Sicily was peaceful, and the nearby town of Nicosia offered enough cafés and shops; parking was plentiful; kids adored the animals—many cats, at least three dogs, plus goats and horses; avoid following Google Maps, which leads into a field—just use the owner's directions, which are easy to follow; the roads in rural Sicily are narrow with many hairpin turns; breakfast was good but could have been better with more variety and local ingredients.

The farm has great potential, but its location and facilities deserve better attention and hospitality. It was lacking in cleanliness and hospitality.

During a week‑long trip to Sicily, I checked into six different resorts, and Agriturismo Baglio San Pietro felt like a breath of fresh air—I genuinely enjoyed it! The place is a working farm that has been in the family for ages, with a main house dating back to around 1700; the history, setting, and meals were all authentic and far less touristy than typical resorts. Luigi, the owner and chef, served dinner under a starry sky and string lights in the courtyard, which was unforgettable. The room I booked was the cheapest option, small yet private, and it was a quiet spot with everything we needed; the AC worked well even though it was probably the hottest week of 2026.
