They tried to up charge me for my 3 children 200 dollars for the complimentary breakfast. So we did not get any free breakfast there

“Disgusting and completely unsafe, management and all its staff should be FIRED!!!!!!”

The location was good, but first I was handed a room that was still occupied by someone else, and the key opened that other person’s room—an extremely dangerous situation! The room was trashed and still occupied, though luckily no one was inside at the time. When I reported it, the staff member couldn’t believe she had given me a room that was still occupied and that the key worked! The room number was 231, in case anyone from management doubts me. Then I was given a second room, 225, and I asked her to inspect it herself. I told her I was a police officer and that the situation could have been extremely dangerous for my wife, me, and others. Her reaction was minimal at best. I requested a discount, but she said she couldn’t do that. The only reason we stayed in the second room was because a severe storm had just arrived. The storm caused extensive damage in the area, with winds over 70 mph. The 2nd‑floor hallway was extremely hot with no air circulation. Room 225 had broken fixtures on the shower handles, a broken shower tile with a hole, and damaged corners on the walls. The towels were questionable, the pillows were the size and shape of basketballs, there was only 1 ½ roll of toilet paper, and the shower head kept dripping. The entry door had a broken piece of wood, suggesting forced entry or other damage, and the front door had gaps all around. I was told the hotel has a no‑smoking policy and that guests sign a form. I approached the front desk and explained that the form I signed was for room 231, which had been occupied by smokers and drinkers, and I should not be charged for that damage. The staff member didn’t even bother to look for the signed document.

The swimming pool was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the location was great—close to parks and the river—and the parking area was well lit. The breakfast attendant was very good. The coffee was the only downside.

“Would have been great if the rooms were tended too regularly, and appliances worked.”

Location was great and very close to everything we needed. Room size was good and the pool was open late. Breakfast was also a plus and easy in the morning with extended hours on the weekends. The beds were full size instead of queen. The pull out couch was disgusting, and we were given old and ripped sheets. We had to request our room to be cleaned but only after 3 days. We had to ask for towels and clean towels daily. We had a family of 5 and they only gave 3. We had to be moved rooms because our first room was not cleaned or ready at check in. The phone, fridge, and microwave did not work at all

“Pleasant. Would use again.”

The location was good, and the roll‑out bed and swimming pool were nice. The bathroom lacked towel hooks, and the bathtub had missing caulk and looked unkempt.
