“Decepción”

The hotel looked nice and the bed was comfortable, yet the room smelled like cat urine; we mentioned it on day one hoping for a change, but they refused, only giving us an air freshener, which was a mixed experience. The next day we noticed more guests arriving, and they still wouldn’t swap rooms, so we stayed eight days there. In the eighth day they only changed the towels once. When we asked about breakfast, they gave no explanation, just said we could use the area but nothing else, and when we left they left us coffee. The service was very cold, they didn’t explain anything, and considering we were staying for a long time, not offering a room change even the next day was a big let‑down. Finally, when we arrived the room had air conditioning but they didn’t give us the remote; we always forgot to ask, so the whole week we were turning it on and off from the electronic panel because by the time we got there in the afternoon no one was around.

The place is pretty, well attended, and meets expectations. I don’t like that the reception area is sometimes closed, but I understand it’s because of the price.
