The Blue Door was quiet, clean and beautiful. Perfect for a relaxing stay! The daily breakfast was amazing and the location was ideal for exploring the stunning nearby beaches or town.

The place is superb, calm and soothing and lets you really disconnect thanks to its location, both in the middle of nowhere and yet very close to gorgeous beaches, lively villages with restaurants, boutiques and markets. The pool is very pleasant all day long. The presence of animals (donkeys, chickens and goats) particularly pleased me, and at the same time you don’t hear them. The generous and very good breakfast makes an impact every morning. Our host Jean was very kind and takes great care of this place that we can only recommend. We really loved those few days and it’s hard to leave. Everything was very good!

Tasteful, simple, with attention to detail (reading lamp, bath linens, kitchen equipment…). Great breakfast basket with fresh regional products, overall sustainable concept (water/energy/waste) and a devoted host.

We were excited about the beautiful property and the breakfast, but the host’s rudeness spoiled the vibe. We asked for a 2 pm check‑in instead of the usual 4 pm, and although it was denied, we were told it could only work if the previous guests left early. We still arrived at 2 pm to see if that had happened, hoping to drop our bags at reception and use the bathroom. The host greeted us with a visibly annoyed, very unfriendly tone and told us we couldn’t leave luggage or use the bathrooms because the facilities weren’t meant for that. When I asked if it would be safe to leave our luggage in our car at the beach, he replied, “I’m not responsible for your luggage.” After realizing he was being rude, he briefly apologized and blamed the stress from the late‑leaving guests before us, which is understandable but not a reason to lash out. Overall, the rude introduction left a bad impression that lingered throughout our stay.
