The spot is amazing for the Mall of America, the beds are comfy, and the reservation process was smooth with the rooms we asked for, but there was no microwave, the room temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, yet overall it was an excellent stay.

The staff were fantastic, and I loved the shuttle to and from the airport, though the hotel itself felt oddly huge and confusing.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; I was greeted right away and checked in quickly. The single bartender/server did a great job, even though he was swamped with an entire restaurant and a convention group hanging out in the bar for hours. The management, however, seemed outmatched by the staff—leaving one server to handle both bar and restaurant on the last night of a convention was a mistake. By the end, a security guard had to step in to clear the pile of used glassware and dishes while still in uniform, giving the impression that management couldn't manage the situation properly. The managers should have been doing that work earlier in the evening. Another annoyance was the coffee maker, hidden in a cabinet and hard to spot, which forced me to buy coffee from a lobby shop I would normally skip.
