The reception, the dishes, the décor, the lighting, the charm, the beautiful river view, and the very good bedding… all were wonderful.

The wrought‑iron entrance gate tucked away in a corner of the Medina, the raw stone columns and arcades, the fabrics, paintings, tiles, built‑in furniture, and every meticulous detail all impressed me. The common, private, indoor, and outdoor spaces were all well designed, and the breakfast was delicious, served around a beautiful table. I can’t say enough thanks to the people who provide access to such high‑quality accommodation at very democratic prices. Just relax with the idea of walking through a very raw Medina and parking your car outside—this is part of the place’s charm. Azemmour isn’t a tourist city, but its Medina is truly authentic.
