The room fit our needs and the breakfast was good with surprisingly many options; I only waited for bread and coffee. However, there was no remote control for the TV, a sock from a previous guest was under the bed, and the toilet door clattered unpleasantly when closed.

The main single room was very good, with a private WC, but the shower was in the hallway (as noted when booking). Outside the hotel the surroundings were untidy, with a vague crowd and litter; otherwise the location was fine. Construction on the railway line slightly disrupted walking, but that was known at booking. The shower room’s cleaning could improve, as hair from a previous guest had been in the drain for several days.

I liked the hotel’s location and the bed was good, but the room was poorly cleaned, with dust on the floors, dirty floors, litter on the floor, nighttime noise (which can happen at any hotel) under the TV, and a wall outlet that might be dangerous because the casing was almost detached from the wall.
