Cleanliness, welcoming service, attention to detail, complimentary afternoon tea, good options at the restaurant (open until 21h) and excellent breakfast. Nothing negative. Everything was great.

The spot is spot on – right on the beach, just in front of the natural pools and almost next to the little church, with a cozy lawn right outside. The lodge itself feels very charming, every little detail counts. The room is basic but the bed is good, the air‑conditioning works, the bathroom is standard but the shower is warm. There’s a mini‑fridge and a smart TV already loaded with Netflix. Breakfast is solid, with plenty of options and no frills. The colonial coffee at 5 pm is a sweet bonus that’s already included in the stay. And the staff are all super welcoming. The only downside is learning that the lodge will shut down, another wave of progress erasing our memories – but that’s a story for another time.

The silence, the feeling of being on the sand, the size of the room – everything was perfect. Everything was just fine.

The location is great, the staff are friendly, and the lodge is spotless – I loved it. The only hiccup was the food service being a bit slow; for instance, the coffee ran out and it took a while to restock.
