The Halfway Motel in Eden offers free WiFi and BBQ facilities, with accommodations featuring air-conditioning, TVs, refrigerators, and tea/coffee making facilities. Located near Aslings Beach and the Eden Gateway Tourist Information Centre, it's close to Lake Curalo and Ben Boyd National Park. It’s in the center of town and near fishing spots, and the shower is the best I’ve had since leaving BENDIGO in July, traveling to Darwin, Rockhampton, and down the east coast back to BENDIGO, but it feels a little dated and needs some minor repairs.

I woke up to a domestic dispute in the middle of the night that required police presence; we left the next morning and were not offered a refund even though we booked through.

The office staff were pleasant and the overnight stay was quiet, but the bed was a huge king‑size that wasn’t very comfortable. Ants ended up on my clothes, the area behind the furniture was dirty, and there weren’t enough power points to charge my phone next to the bed.
