Hotel Hörterer Der Hammerwirt is a hotel between Siegsdorf and Inzell, on an 18th‑century tavern site. Rooms, some in a renovated blacksmith’s workshop, have wooden furniture, cable TV, bathrooms and terraces. Guests enjoy breakfast, free Wi‑Fi, orchard, lake, and a Chiemgau Card for cable‑car, pool, museum, transport. It lies 6 km from the A8, 15 minutes from Lake Chiemsee, and 30 minutes from Salzburg.

The place sits in a peaceful setting amid gorgeous nature, and everything about it pleased us.

There was nothing to criticize, the room was very nice, parking right at the entrance, service and food were excellent, and we would gladly return. However, we were just a stopover on our way.
