Very disappointing experience at Konark Villa — Booking Ref: 5214.039.719 I stayed at Konark Villa on 15–16 August 2026 with my friend, under booking reference 5214.039.719, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. First, the property is quite far from Mahabaleshwar, and the road leading to the hotel was extremely muddy. If you are travelling by bike, especially during the monsoon, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. We were given a ground-floor room that was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. When we asked the staff to check the cleanliness, we were simply told that it was because of the rain. We somehow adjusted, but the problems continued. The towels were not clean, and there was a blanket with blood spots on it. When we asked the staff to replace it, he came angrily and gave us another very old blanket instead of handling the situation professionally. To make things worse, one of the windows kept making a “tak tak tak” sound throughout the entire night, making it very difficult to sleep. After travelling and being tired the entire day, we expected at least a clean and comfortable room, but unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. Very poor room condition, cleanliness, staff behaviour and overall service. This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have experienced. I personally would not recommend Konark Villa, especially during the monsoon or if you are travelling by bike. Please think twice before booking this property.
