“На сайті пишуть одне в дійсності зовсім інше, не”
The staff was very disappointing. There were also several other reasons I didn’t like it. When booking the hostel it showed that the room had 6 beds, meaning 6 people could stay and 5 free spots. I chose this hostel because I thought only one person was there, expecting more comfort. I arrived about an hour after booking, sometime between 19–20. There was no sign at the entrance, so I didn’t immediately know which doors were for me. I entered a dark entrance, didn’t know where to go, and was surprised that the hostel was in a basement, something the site didn’t mention. When I entered the room I saw 8 beds instead of 6 and asked how many people were staying. He said 3 and I was the 4th. So what was listed on the site didn’t match reality. The hostel was already paid for, and they wouldn’t refund the money. I accepted the situation, thought everything was fine, and slept over. In the morning the owner rushed over and told me it was time to leave; their check‑out seems to be at 10:30, but no one else came after me. I thought, okay, I’ll gather my stuff. Maybe he needs me to vacate quickly because someone else booked. Then I asked if I could leave my things. The room had plenty of storage, even if all 8 people were there there were still free lockers. He insisted I vacate and that I couldn’t leave my items. I added that I needed them for a few hours because I had a flight, and that I would be out of the hostel, just leaving my belongings so I wouldn’t have to carry a heavy backpack. He refused without reason, not considering my situation. What was the problem for him about leaving items in a locked locker for a few hours? There were plenty of free storage spots, even if all 5 beds were booked. Usually people were allowed to leave items even until the evening, just to free up space. Is this attitude towards Ukrainians, or is it just that kind of person? In short, I won’t stay here again and I don’t recommend it.
