The place is very clean and in a good location, but the evening staff are abrupt and unfriendly, the room lacks basic items like cups and a coffee pot, the front‑desk girl is unpleasant, and a $250 deposit on top of a $200 room rate that isn’t refunded for 4–5 business days feels ridiculous; breakfast is just grab‑and‑go.

The breakfast consists of mini muffins, granola bars, mandarins, and pre‑packaged boiled eggs, which is misleadingly called free; on top of the room price you’re also required to pay an extra $250 until checkout, a policy that should have been disclosed online so I could have chosen elsewhere.

The room was comfortable, the location modern and great, and the place was clean, but the faucets are too short and you end up rubbing your hands against the rim of the bowl while washing.

The room was decent, but the cleaning staff entered my room without knocking and the front desk lied about it, claiming she had knocked when she hadn't. They just walked in and out, trying to act as if it wasn't her, and later admitted she had opened the door and backed out. My daughter was undressed and was frightened when she saw the cleaner come out the opposite room across the hall; it turned out it was indeed her who had opened the door and didn't close it. We were all very upset and scared, so we left an hour early before checkout and called the police, who gave us a report number. The officer mentioned that the hotel gets many complaints about the front desk disrespecting guests.

The manager was inexplicably rude and asked my son and me to leave on our second day, refusing to explain why. We called the police, who were nice but told us to avoid any trouble. One officer mentioned that they are often called to this property. The manager had previously called the cops the night before. She told my son too many details about staying inside the room, which confused and angered me because we were with our dog and my son didn't leave the room. I also found a black towel while wiping water off the bathroom floor. The manager’s behavior was the main issue; I wish I’d read reviews before booking. The Fredericksburg location has many bad reviews, and people are going to court over deposits that the manager lied about. I will never stay there again.
