The rooms were roomy and fairly quiet, each with a little living area and kitchen space on the balconies, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The room was spotless and roomy with good lighting, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful in a quiet area. However, my room was on the 2nd floor, reached by a steep flight of steps with no railing and poor lighting; I had to leave early at 6am for a tour and there was no lighting near the pool, which I had to pass to get outside, and no staff were on duty, so as a single female traveler I didn’t feel safe. Anyone could have walked in from the street into the guest house, which was wide open. I left after 2 nights because the place was too deserted for me and not within walking distance to shops or cafes or anything for guests. There was also no drinking water in the room; guests had to go out into a lounge/dining area to get water from a dispenser. For a solo female traveler this setup was not great.
