The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. The hotel is a short walk from the beach. Unfortunately, our stay was rather disappointing overall. We experienced a total water outage twice during our stay. After the second outage, only cold water came out, and even then the shower took several minutes to heat up. Construction work right in front of the hotel was sometimes very loud (poor timing for our trip). Our room was never cleaned during the six nights, and trash was not removed. I was told later that I should have asked for it. At check‑in, a full ashtray was on the balcony, the sheets were dirty and carelessly made. One of the sockets was hanging half out of the wall. There was a kettle and tea, but no cups in the room. The room payment was demanded in cash at arrival, which meant extra fees for me to withdraw money. All of these issues significantly affected our stay.
