“Amazing place to stay, very peaceful and serene, and many animals to see from the tent”
I can’t recommend this camp enough. It felt so special to live right next to the lake and see so many animals from the tent or the restaurant. We usually spotted a few giraffes, two types of monkeys, fish eagles, and warthogs grazing next to the tents. Colobus monkeys sleep on a tree on the property and it’s so cool to watch them play. The location is so peaceful and feels like heaven. We did two bush walks with a park ranger (free of charge) and learned a lot about local flora and fauna. We saw many more giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, and more monkeys. During the night game drive, we saw even more, most notably two zorillas. The staff is amazing, the food is amazing. I recommend this place to everyone I know who comes to Kenya, and we hope to return as well. It’s also very reasonably priced. It felt very exclusive and intimate.
