“Lovely stay in great location for exploring the area”
The hosts were very friendly and kind. The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed. Breakfast was great! There was nothing that I didn’t like.

Getting there was easy. Parking is off the road. The room was lovely and comfortable, with a fantastic bed. The property itself was also lovely. Hosts Steph and Richard were fantastic – they even got me a special herbal tea. I didn’t have the cooked breakfast, but there were plenty of alternatives that satisfied me. I appreciated that fresh water was given daily, that there was a box of tissues in the room, and that a flannel was included in the towel set (rare, so I usually bring my own). I would definitely stay again. The only minor gripe was that the towels weren’t very absorbent, maybe because they were washed with conditioner? I was given a second set on my third and final day, which was nice.

I could pick from a wide range of full English breakfast items plus yoghurt, fruit, cereal, fruit juice and fresh milk. The shower area was a bit cramped and you have to step up into the shower, which was a bit tricky for my husband who can be a little unsteady on his feet, so we had to be extra careful.

The hosts were wonderful and welcoming. Breakfast was good. The location was ideal, with the bus stop and railway station less than five minutes walk from the property, making it easy to reach the region and surrounding area. Everything was more than satisfactory.

The room was very clean and breakfast was amazing. The location was perfect for me to get to work, but it would also be ideal for a holiday stay because the train station is a 5‑minute walk and the town is easy to walk into. Nothing was wrong – everything was perfect.
