Located in the Croatan National Forest off guests Highway 70, this Havelock motel features a seasonal outdoor pool and daily hot breakfast. Horseback riding is 10.1 km away at Zeigler Stables. Free WiFi and satellite TV with HBO channels are standard in each room, which also includes a microwave, small refrigerator, and spa bath. A fitness centre and lobby with free newspaper are on site.

The customer service was excellent and the facility was spotless.

The building itself looks attractive and is easy to reach, but it has structural flaws: the walls are thin, some baseboards look weathered and weak, and after a heavy rain ants crawled in and even got into our suitcase, revealing the baseboards weren’t sealed properly. The AC was cool but never reached the low temperature we set it to.

Didn't do breakfast, location was decent for a one night stay. The bed in 112 was broken,the tub had black mold around the faucets, We walked in the was at 62. We'll in the morning we found why . We raised the temperature to 72. We woke uo the floors were wet and sticky The hallway had two fans in them still smell the dambness and mold. The hotel needs to be remodeled. It's showing it's age
