The on‑site restaurant serves local and South African cuisine, while the bar provides a relaxed atmosphere.

The breakfast hit every mark I was hoping for, while the lack of quiet and the historical surroundings were a bit disappointing.

Barbara welcomed me with sherry and went the extra mile throughout my stay, serving lovely prepared food; her communication was excellent and she gave useful tips before I arrived. The only thing to note is that the place is remote, with no food shops or petrol stations nearby.
