This place really put a huge grin on our faces and made my boyfriend’s eyes shine. From the furniture to the tiniest accessories everything fits together, and every detail shows how much love and enthusiasm the hosts put into it. Eric was always reachable, took great care of us, and surprised us with little gestures that made our stay feel like a VIP vacation. There was nothing to complain about.

Especially for airplane enthusiasts, this is an extraordinary stay crafted with great detail and authenticity by owner Erik. The flight simulator is a highlight, though it takes some practice to fly and land safely; you have unlimited time to practice during your stay. The welcome and farewell were super friendly and personal. For relaxation, there’s even a free sauna and a modern bathroom next to the plane. We felt completely comfortable and will return to try the nearby submarine simulator.

The reception was super friendly and personal. A flight ticket was sent by mail beforehand. The airplane in the garden was unmistakable and easy to spot. Staying there felt like an adventure and a funny idea for the family. Unfortunately, the 7‑ and 9‑year‑old boys were a bit too young for the flight simulator, and even I, as a layperson, crashed. :0) Professionals would likely enjoy it and might fly all night instead of sleeping. Luckily there was a telescope, mini‑golf, and a sauna. The airplane conversion was amazing, done with great love and dedication—thanks for that.

I was blown away by the place! The spot overlooking the Bastei is stunning, and staying in an Antonov turned the trip into a unique adventure—not just for aviation enthusiasts. The plane is decked out with meticulous detail. The beds are super comfy, the tiny kitchen has everything needed, and we loved the combo of a toilet inside the plane plus a modern shower room and sauna outside. The flight simulator is the cherry on top for flight lovers. Huge thanks to host Erik; from the start the communication was easy and warm, the reception friendly, and everything was clearly explained. In the hot summer heat he regularly misted the Antonov—cool and almost a little special effect. You can see he truly cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make the stay memorable. As a farewell, there was even a little surprise—a thoughtful gesture that made us very happy. Thank you for this extraordinary experience! We’re taking home many beautiful memories and would recommend this Antonov to anyone who’s ever wanted to sleep in an airplane—or just wants a truly special place.
