I adored the breakfast and the positive vibe from the staff; honestly, this is the best hostel in all of Orland. Thanks for the safe, beautiful surroundings—this was the best night’s sleep I’ve had since arriving!

“Auberge convenable proche du centre”

The staff in September 2026 were incredibly sweet, attentive, and helpful (big thanks to the team!). The shared areas were spacious, attractive, and practical—like the kitchen—making it feel like home. Breakfast was good, though a few more fruit options and juices would be nice. The location was great, with nearby streets offering free parking. The dorm on the lower floor where I stayed (the women’s 8‑bed room) had only a tiny window, so the space felt cramped, low‑plastered, dim, and damp, with a dehumidifier running 24 h. None of the beds had curtains, and the one I had—though tucked in a corner—had feet exposed to the hallway. The others only had side curtains, not at the feet, which was problematic for the two beds whose feet faced the room mirror and lamp. The lockers were too small for anything beyond a small backpack. My lock was too big, and when I mentioned it at reception they offered a small lock for rent at $6 for the whole stay; I opted not to take one, and the other girls were lovely and we trusted each other. The shower drain was sluggish. The laundry price of $8 seemed high for a hostel, especially since machines were only available from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; otherwise it felt like the staff were trying to monetize it.
