Great location, great accommodation—perfect for a short stay! Dogs are warmly welcomed, the hosts are friendly, breakfast is tasty, and there are excellent local recommendations.

Everything really—location, the place, the quiet, our room, the food and wine, but especially Christopher the patron. So many places my wife and I have stayed at over the years for many reasons we’d not return to; Le Lion D’or is not one of them. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Our stay was fantastic! Christophe and Juliette’s accommodation is beautiful and very clean. Breakfast is prepared daily by Christophe with fresh, local products. It’s a perfect spot to relax in the wonderful Dordogne countryside, and we could also recharge the electric car. Nothing to mention.

Magnifique! Tout d’abord, la région est incroyable, tout est beau et il y a mille choses à visiter. Le Lion d’or est super bien placé. La cabane est toute cocoon, au calme, avec tout le nécessaire et le domaine est superbe! C’est super propre et les hôtes sont adorables. Petit déjeuner au top et possibilité de manger aussi le soir et c’est délicieux. Le petit plus : l’accueil de notre petit chien qui a passé les meilleures vacances de sa vie ;) On espère pouvoir y revenir, nous avons adoré !. Rien tout est parfait
