Everything was excellent, a true paradise with fantastic staff and meticulous attention to detail. Watukarung itself still feels like an undiscovered gem, and the place is simply stunning.

The room was tastefully decorated, all new, bright and friendly. The breakfast was lovingly prepared. The owner was very helpful and we felt very comfortable, and her three assistants were also very attentive and friendly!!! 👍😊

This place feels like a little paradise. Everything is simply perfect: the rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The swimming pool is wonderful, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, and you can also enjoy either a traditional Indonesian or a Western dinner prepared on request. The view over the forest is beautiful, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot monkeys in the trees. With only four rooms, it offers a peaceful and intimate atmosphere that makes your stay feel truly special.

A huge thank you to Marli and everyone on the team for all the help. The room and bathroom were gorgeous, and the breakfast was great—everything worked out perfectly. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and Marli was super easy to chat with, offering tons of local tips and addresses. On the downside, we were disappointed that many warungs and cafés were closed during our three‑day stay in mid‑July, which felt more like low season than the middle of the month. Also, swimming in the Pacific here isn’t as easy as one might expect.
