The spot was perfect, waking up with mangrove views was amazing, and they gave you a free kayak for staying. The room was filthy and abandoned, with hair on the floor when I arrived. The shower water didn’t flow, the bed was super uncomfortable, and the breakfast was only salvageable with the tortilla, which wasn’t much; if you didn’t arrive early, there was no fruit. Overall a disaster.

“Agradable y simple”

The place’s style suggests it was once very beautiful, and they’ve added enthusiasm to keep it looking good with little resources, but it seems to have deteriorated over time. The staff were very friendly. The cats always cheer up any bad mood, haha. The lack of cleanliness was a problem: under the bed it was clear they hadn’t cleaned in a long time, and the bathroom was also quite dirty, though that’s common in Thailand (I’m not sure if bleach is banned for environmental reasons, but I noticed many hotels I stayed at lacked a thorough bathroom cleaning with a good set of cleaners). On the other hand, the bed linens and towels were clean.

“Pristnost mangrovinih korenin”

It was an amazing stay in a unique cabin with a view of the river and mangrove forest. In the early mornings, fishermen drove by with their boats and poles outside the window. The cabin was comfortable and well‑air‑conditioned. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The food was tasty. The only issue was that the toilet was always wet because it leaked.
