The room was spacious and well equipped. The luggage help was especially pleasant: even though there is no lift, they offered to carry the bags and did so reliably. The windows could not be opened properly; one window opened but was hard to close again. In the sauna there was no clear sign about towel usage; the spa team explained that towels may be used but are not required, so guests sat on the wooden benches without towels, which seemed unhygienic to me. The dinner did not meet my expectations: the combination of sea bass, pickled paprika, and an unripe pear was off for my taste. The duck, which was supposed to be served pink, was fully cooked and the skin was not crispy.

The staff were friendly and the facilities were excellent.

The staff were nice, but I had a health issue and had to leave early; the hotel would have adjusted my reservation and charges, but the booking platform wouldn't, so we won’t stay here again.

Lovely old/new hotel. V relaxed,. Our room was in the basement. The minute u got out of the lift there was a smell of damp. V strong. Room was pretty though. With a fake fire and column that created the natural light
