The view was great, and getting to the water was quick; the place stayed clean with plenty of toiletries, and Kathy was nice. However, the water never got hot even after being told to leave it running, and there were no instructions on how to get through the gate before arrival.

“Great location and view. Very spacious! Friendly owner and accommodating with great coffee and simple breakfast.”

It was close to surf spots whether you had a car or not, and the place felt very private and secure, thanks to the amazing elderly owner. The TVs didn’t support Netflix or new tech, and the HOA vendor overcharged an elderly woman for propane gas and water, which left the showers not even warm and with no water pressure; I had to boil pots of water on the stove for five days.

“Worth it if you need somewhere affordable but simple to stay near Rosarito”

I enjoyed the ocean view and balcony, and the room was pretty clean. Unfortunately, there was no fan, the room got hot, ants spread out, and the walls were incredibly thin so I could hear every noise, including traffic off the highway; plus there was no hot water.

The bed was comfortable, but the host was rude, there was no individual bathroom, the shower was broken, and breakfast was terrible.

The ocean view is beautiful, but I don’t speak good English and the staff at Hacienda de Rosarito don’t speak good Spanish, creating a big barrier for both of us; it would be better to rent only to strict English speakers or have someone who speaks Spanish well.
