I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t book a room, but there were no other complaints.

A non‑holiday double room costs just over a thousand, which is a good price. The hotel sits in Hualien city centre, making transport and daily needs easy, the staff were courteous and polite, and the overall stay was pleasant and worth recommending.

The location was great, with a few attractions nearby, and the room was clean and comfortable, leaving nothing to complain about.
