The room had enough space and was right in the centre near the Römermuseum, but only indirect daylight came in through a mirror (non‑smoking room no. 2), there was no breakfast, no daylight in the bathroom, and a cigarette smell lingered on the corridor.

Free parking right next to the hotel and breakfast also nearby, especially good at Bäckerei Schmidt; the mirror over the sink is too dark and lacks proper lighting.

I liked that the hotel is close to the city center and to historic and architectural sights; however, it has no car parking or bike storage (though bikes can be brought into the room). Bringing bikes up to the second floor on narrow stairs was a bit troublesome, and the room felt cramped with the bicycles inside. There was no way to ventilate the room at night because the windows could be opened but they faced the roof of the neighboring building.

The room was large, bright, very clean, centrally located, and quiet; a Nespresso machine was available for the first coffee. The entrance area was not very welcoming.
