The welcome was friendly, and the pizza and coffee were tasty.

The resort was nicely decorated with many charming details. The food was good, and the staff spoke enough English to understand vegetarian requests. Both the western and Khmer dishes were fine except for the chicken, which was very dry. The room was fine with good air‑conditioning, but there was no hot water and the temperature was not very warm, which I missed. The chicken at breakfast was also extremely dry.

The value for money was unbelievably good.

The staff were kind and there was the option to eat on site. The location was too far from Preah Vihear, the sheets didn’t look pristine 😬, and it was hard to communicate because only one person spoke English. The price‑quality ratio was high (35 €/night including breakfast) and no activities were offered nearby.
