Super 8 by Wyndham New Stanton

Nothing. No electricity, so I didn’t stay.

“Bad experience”

I was pleased to find the power on and the ice machine functioning, but the night shift staff were absent, the TV wouldn’t turn on, the cable picture was snowy, and there was an odd odor. Breakfast was subpar, the skill machines were unusable, the pool was advertised but not available, and the coffee machine worked poorly.

I was completely dissatisfied with how the payment method was duplicated—scams and fraud are a real concern. The pet policy issue was a nightmare: I’d called earlier, was told no problem, yet the lobby staff showed up with my dog and claimed I hadn’t notified them, and the room wasn’t pet‑friendly. They offered a room change, but none were available, so I had to find another place. When I asked for a refund, the manager was absent, and the front desk staff couldn’t provide any proof. I demanded the manager’s presence, was told she couldn’t, which was absurd; I wouldn’t leave until I had the refund. Eventually the manager processed it, but she wouldn’t give me her first name for my records. The entire handling felt unprofessional, and I will never stay at a Super 8 again.

I didn’t find any positives to mention.

“Broken, won't refund money”

The location was convenient for the event we attended, but the air conditioning failed. The manager cancelled my reservation yet has not refunded the money as promised.
