Nothing. Nothing, the host was arrogant. There was zero awareness that the hotel room was booked. The room had a dead cockroach. The pillow and quilt smelled really bad, far from worth the price. We were exhausted and just wanted dinner at the café, but the host and staff were clueless, so we had to go to another café.

Beachfront and inexpensive. Cleaning wasn’t regular, the staff was unprofessional and forgot some of our requests.

The Coco Leaf Cafe is a hidden gem right on Gokarna Main Beach, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and laid-back vibes. While it's a bit of a trek to carry your luggage across the sand, the stunning ocean views and proximity to the Mahabaleshwar Temple make it well worth the effort. The rooms are clean and aesthetically pleasing, with AC and proper ventilation, and the hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

I was really impressed with the location of this place - it's literally a stone's throw from the beach, and there are plenty of restaurants and temples within walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable, which is great. However, the lane leading up to the property is super dark at night, which can be a bit spooky. I think if the owners got together and installed some streetlights, it would make a big difference and attract even more customers.
