Hotel des Alpes sits in Brides‑les‑Bains, just 30 m from the Olympe ski lift and 13.8 km from Méribel Golf Course. Heated rooms feature carpeted floors, private balconies, flat‑screen TVs, and en‑suite bathrooms with hairdryers. Guests enjoy a buffet breakfast, a Savoyard‑style bar, and a restaurant serving regional dishes, with special‑diet menus on request. Free private parking and nearby ski‑rental services complete the offering.

The location, the staff’s friendliness, and the half‑board are all excellent. Nothing to add.

The meals under the half‑board plan were lovely and offered good value. Breakfast featured a typical European baguette, sliced meats, cheese, yogurt, and fruit. Dinners were consistently good, 4‑course home‑cooked meals. The staff were delightful. The hotel is clean, quiet, older, and sits in a quiet neighbourhood right beside the Olympe 1 gondola to Meribel Centre. Getting to and from without a car is a bit of a trek, so free parking makes a rental car the better option; once there, you don’t need your car. The large spa facility in town was closed for renovations but will reopen soon.
