The room was fine. However, a lot has changed: my family received bright red wristbands for breakfast and the pool, while no other guests wore them. These wristbands were given only once and were expected to stay on throughout the stay, even for my twins, which made it hard for children to keep them on—especially when they were wet and itchy. After working all night, I returned, fixed my breakfast, and got ready to shower before eating, only to find I couldn’t take my breakfast to the room. I was forced to eat it immediately in the brisk sitting area with everyone else, despite having worked a 12‑hour shift. This robbed me of comfort and privacy. The policy should be reconsidered: if you order room service, food can go to the room; if you order out, it can go to the room; if you bring food, it can go to the room—except you don’t want to take a lukewarm waffle to the room. Now there’s a person who scans guests, asking some for their room number and simply saying “good morning” to others. For $600 for two nights, it used to be better; now it feels like a 1‑star hotel. The pool is extremely, extremely, extremely unenjoyable because the water is so salty that the first drop will singe your eyes. Ditch the wristbands unless everyone will wear them so no one feels awkward or singled out.

We liked the location and the staff were nice. The pull‑out had no mattress, and the bathroom suffered water damage from the door, leaving debris every time the door was moved. Wet spots on the carpet covered the entire hotel and didn’t disappear during our three‑day stay. We had no blankets or sheets for the pull‑out sofa, and it took 24 hours to get a blanket. All four of us slept on one bed because there was no mattress or blanket. Finally, the bathroom doors in the severely rundown pool area don’t work. I will never stay here again.
