The spot is well‑situated in Kalofer’s center, with restaurants, shops and the bus station right in front of you. The White River Eco Trail (Bjala Reka) isn’t far from Kalofer – it’s a lovely circuit walk through a small gorge with plenty of bridges and steps, but be careful: the road to the trail’s starting point is in terrible condition and a real hassle for the car. Our room, which included a fridge, was very clean. There’s also a communal kitchen, but it’s a bit short on dishes – a few deeper plates or bowls would help. Georgi was a very nice person and we felt very comfortable. The little garden looks a bit neglected.

The rooms were clean and comfy, and the shared kitchen let me whip up simple meals whenever I wanted.

The place is the best spot in town – a lovely garden and balcony to unwind. But the room had a faint odor from poor ventilation, only one window that could open, and a weird night‑time noise from the window frame that made it hard to sleep.

The house sits right in the city center, just a short walk from most sights, but the smell coming from the drain was off‑putting and the climb up the stairs made it tough for anyone with mobility issues.
