The location was good.

I stayed mostly near the pool area, which was great because we spent the whole day there. The whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. The downside was that there is no lift, making it tough for older guests who can’t climb the stairs.

The terrace in our room was spacious and lovely. The room itself was also large, with a very comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. I really enjoyed the overall stay, especially breakfast where the staff were very homely and welcoming. Unfortunately, the building is old and there is no lift.

The staff were perfect, breakfast was good, and parking was available. On the flip side, the pool needs a much cleaner service, the main room air‑conditioner made a lot of noise, kids’ beds are a bit small even the double one, and the TV only offered a single channel.

Positive Aspects On the positive side, the hotel offers good value for money. The pool is an excellent feature and really adds to the stay, especially during the warmer weather. The breakfast was good, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also noticed that the staff were always cleaning and keeping the hotel areas tidy, which was appreciated. Overall, there are definitely some good things about the hotel, and with a few upgrades and improvements, I think it could become an even better place to stay. The hotel has potential, but I feel it would benefit from some renovation and upgrading. There were a few things I noticed during my stay. The breakfast options were quite limited, and the TV only had local stations, which made the entertainment options very limited. There also weren’t enough power outlets in the room for charging devices and using the bedside lamps, so plugs had to be removed and swapped around. I was also disappointed that the pool closes at 7pm. A later closing time would have been much nicer, especially for guests who want to enjoy a late-night swim. As I ended up being unwell and spending quite a lot of time in the room, I noticed these things more than I normally would. Another issue was the information on the notice board regarding lunch. It stated that lunch was available until 5pm, but when we asked at around 3pm, we were told that lunch actually finished at 2pm, meaning we could no longer eat there. I strongly suggest updating the notice boards so the information reflects the actual serving times. Overall, the place has potential, but I think it needs some investment, modernisation and better communication of its facilities and opening times
