The hotel and restaurant staff were welcoming, available and attentive. The room was average: no light in the bathroom, replaced by an old bedside lamp.

The hotel couldn’t accommodate us because of a technical problem, but they re‑lodged us at another property.

The bed was fine. After the closure of the hotel we had booked, we were redirected to this place. When we arrived, the rate didn’t match the original reservation and breakfast had been added automatically; we declined it. The hotel is okay, but it felt quite impersonal and didn’t leave a memorable impression.

A helpful and friendly receptionist did her best given the power outage. The breakfast was good and the room had a decent temperature. However, on arrival we discovered that the building was under renovation and the restaurant was closed, so we had to order pizza. At the agreed time there was another power cut; an hour later the receptionist helped us eat the pizza in the dining room. The pizza had been baked elsewhere and was heavily burnt on the bottom. No financial compensation was offered for the inconvenience.
